Because presently only one veterinarian practices at Ellesmere Animal Clinic, we can care for the following types of pets only:
Appointments
You can call us at anytime during our operating hours to schedule an appointment. If we are not able to receive your call please leave us a message and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible to set up an appointment convenient to your schedule. You may also book an appointment online through our 'Make an Appointment' service or by sending an email to ellesmerevet_99@rogers.com. Follow-up appointments will be made in-person at our clinic automatically.

Grooming
Our on-site groomer has more than 15 years of professional dog grooming experience. Services include bath & brush, haircut & styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing. Grooming is available two days per week — call 416-449-3304 to check availability and book your appointment. Appointments fill quickly.
Open Hospital
At Ellesmere Animal Clinic, we operate an open hospital. This means you are always welcome to stay with your pet during examinations, vaccinations, and minor procedures. We believe transparency builds trust. For emergency cases, if we cannot accommodate, we will personally connect you with an appropriate referral clinic so you are never left searching on your own.
Vetwise Service
Ellesmere Animal Clinic has partnered with Vetwise to provide after hours phone or an e-consult. Please follow the instructions to use Vetwise services:

Visit www.getvetwise.com and register an account to request an appointment with a veterinarian

Call 1-888-243-1411 to speak to an RVT (registered veterinary technician) who can triage and assist with booking a virtual consultation with a veterinarian. After-hours, calling in is our preference because it ensures that cases are properly triaged before entering our veterinarian’s queue. We will also assist with physical transfers when appropriate so pet owners aren’t left to their own devices finding care.
Payment Convenience
Ellesmere Animal Clinic accepts payment via cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa. So that we can continue to provide you high quality service utilizing the best medical technologies, we request that payment be made at the time services are rendered.
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations before we render service. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges.
